Keeping Food Fresh
One of my big lessons from COVID was that I needed to minimize my trips to the grocery store. One way to do this was to be sure I made refrigerated food last as long as possible.
I never wanted to be surprised by frozen lettuce or spoiled chicken, but with COVID, I was not going to just “run to the store” to solve my problem. Obviously, no one wants to eat spoiled food due to health concerns. But if you want to take control of your kitchen and be able to eat better and save time, prepping ingredients ahead of time is key. Keeping food fresh, both before and after it’s been cut or cooked, is one of the most important things you can do. These resources will help you keep food fresh, both before and after cooking. Please let me know if these are helpful and what other information you’re looking for so you can make food last longer.
